U.S. court gives the go-ahead for Pretrial Discovery

News to the litigation of the CCP Systems AG in the United States against IBM and Samsung.
 
On Friday, the 1st of July 2011, the Court of the United States launched the Pretrial Discovery in the licensing and patent dispute between the CCP Systems AG and IBM / Samsung.
 
Two basic decisions were precipitated during the trial on June 29, 2011 by the judge:
 
  1. The official launch of the Pretrial Discovery including scheduling and content benchmarks was set. The court ordered that the disclosure of all court-related information should be completed this year and the exchange of expert opinions should be completed by the end of April 2012.
  2. The extended complaint at the U.S. court, after consultation with IBM and Samsung (via their attorneys) was confirmed by the Judge and is thereby the basis of Pretrial Discovery and trial.
 
Now the exchange of information that is relevant to the litigation in court begins. The great explosiveness is that, should false or incomplete information be provided, this would cause an affidavit with the corresponding consequences for the individuals involved.
